Motorcyclist Hurt in North Park Accident on 30th Street near Lincoln Avenue
North Park, California (May 26, 2022) – A motorcyclist sustained major injuries in a collision involving a vehicle on Wednesday night in North Park, according to San Diego police.
The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. on May 25, on 30th Street near Lincoln Avenue.
San Diego police said a 2004 Harley-Davidson was traveling northbound on 30th Street when it collided with a southbound Toyota Prius that made a turn.
The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with a broken left ankle and a broken left femur.
The other motorist, a 27-year-old man, was unhurt.
The crash caused the closure of 30th Street between University and Polk avenues.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
