Palmdale, CA. – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car Saturday morning near the USDA Forest Service – Monte Cristo Fire Station in Palmdale.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 8:23 a.m. on Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road at Mile Marker 8.05, near Angeles Forest Highway.
The collision involved a gray Honda Civic and a motorcycle.
The rider was lying down in the roadway after the collision.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
