A motorcycle and two cars collided Friday morning in the southbound lanes of the interstate near Telegraph Road.
Santa Fe Springs, Calif. – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday morning in Santa Fe Springs, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision took place around 7:40 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 605, just north of Telegraph Road.
A black Hyundai Sonata, a white Toyota, and a motorcycle were involved in the crash.
The motorcyclist was lying down in traffic lanes after the collision.
The Santa Fe Springs Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after the accident.
The rider was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
No other information was given but an investigation is ongoing.
