Rider Suffers Major Injuries in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 5 near Sixth Avenue
San Diego, California (June 30, 2022) – A motorcyclist was severely hurt in a Thursday morning crash that happened on Interstate 5 in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident, which involved a motorcycle and at least one car, occurred at around 11:26 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Sixth Avenue.
The motorcycle and the rider went down after the impact.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to find the rider with a leg fracture. The patient was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the crash.
