Los Angeles, CA. – Multiple people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday evening near an intersection in Los Angeles' Historic South-Central neighborhood.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the pileup was reported around 7:29 p.m. in the 491 block of 42nd Place at Avalon Boulevard.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision, LAFD said.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated seven patients. Two of the victims were transported to area hospitals with unspecified injuries.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the accident.
