Several Injured after Greyhound Bus Overturns in Tulare County

Tulare County, California (August 3, 2022) – Multiple passengers were injured in a collision involving a Greyhound bus in Tulare County early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 3:15 a.m. near Highway 99 and Avenue 264.
A 45-year-old man from Beverly Hills was driving a Greyhound bus when he lost control for unknown reasons and drifted onto the right shoulder. The bus then crashed into a chain-link and overturned into a packing house parking lot.
The bus was on its way to Fresno from Bakersfield when it crashed.

About 34 passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash.
CHP says 21 passengers were transported to at least three different hospitals in Tulare, Visalia and Hanford with minor to moderate injuries.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
