Authorities Investigating Major Injury Napa Car Crash on Highway 221 near Highway 29
Napa, California (March 21, 2022) – Three people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that took place Sunday afternoon in Napa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury accident occurred at around 5:31 p.m. on southbound Highway 221, just north of Highway 29.
The crash involved a black 4-door Lexus IS-250, a Ford Escape, and a Ford pickup truck. All vehicles were on the left-hand shoulder after the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported three persons, at least one of them with major injuries, to the hospital.
At least one traffic lane remained closed following the accident.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
