1 Person Hospitalized after National City Crash on Route 54 near Plaza Bonita Center Way
National City, California (March 16, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday evening rollover accident involving two vehicles that left one person injured in National City.
The accident occurred at about 5:10 p.m. on eastbound Route 54 near Plaza Bonita Center Way.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white SUV collided with a white truck.
As a result of the crash impact, the truck reportedly flipped over, trapping one person and blocking the second and third lanes of traffic.

One person was injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment.
