National City, California (November 22, 2021) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision involving a car and a truck in National City Saturday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision was reported just after 12:45 p.m. Saturday, November 20, on San Diego (5) Freeway near Civic Center Drive.
According to the CHP, a black truck collided with a small green sports car in the southbound lane of the freeway.
