3 Injured in Newman Collision on West Stuhr Road near Jorgensen Road

Newman, California (February 8, 2022) – Three people were injured Tuesday morning in a head-on collision in Newman, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash occurred at around 6:14 a.m. on West Stuhr Road, just west of Jorgensen Road.
Two vehicles collided head-on on West Stuhr Road, the CHP said.
Two people were trapped in their damaged vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. A third person was ejected from a vehicle upon the impact.
2 Hospitalized after Newman Crash
The freed victims were transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The ejected person was also hospitalized in unknown condition.
The wreck vehicles were towed from the crash site.
The crash remains under investigation.
