At Least 1 Killed in Nipton Car Crash on Kelso Cima Road near Cima Road

Nipton, California (November 16, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a Monday afternoon head-on collision that happened in Nipton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities received reports about the wreck at around 1:16 p.m. on Kelso Cima Road, just south of Cima Road.
As per the report, a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck collided head-on with a black Audi A6 for unknown reasons. The vehicles were blocking the roadway after the crash.
One person was killed in the accident, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Coroner was requested to respond to the scene.
Two tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene, and plenty of trash bags and absorbent were needed to clean the roadway.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
