California (February 7, 2022) – The motorcyclist who died following a crash with a vehicle in Fresno on Saturday evening has been identified as Noah Ruiz Hernandez, 21, of Fresno, according to the Fresno Police Department.

The crash took place near Blackstone and Herndon avenues at around 4:45 p.m. February 5.

Investigators said a motorcyclist slammed into the passenger side of a that was trying to make a U-turn in the area.

Authorities found Hernandez down the roadway with major injuries. The officers performed CPR on him until medics arrived.

Hernandez was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

The other driver was uninjured and stayed at the scene after the collision.

The crash led to the closure of the southbound lanes of Blackstone Avenue as authorities examined the scene.

The Fresno Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
