1 Seriously Injured in North Highlands Car Crash Tuesday Afternoon at Elkhorn Boulevard and 34th Street
North Highlands, California (November 17, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries following a three-car accident that happened Tuesday afternoon at a North Highlands intersection, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision occurred at around 2:08 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, at the intersection of Elkhorn Boulevard and 34th Street, near Watt Avenue.
According to CHP, a Toyota Prius, a small SUV, and a third vehicle collided at the intersection.
Both the Toyota and the SUV sustained front-end damages due to the collision.
Multi-Vehicle Crash in North Highlands
The CHP said one patient, whose name was not disclosed, was taken to a local hospital with major injuries.
Police temporarily closed the intersection during the investigation.
