Bicyclist Injured in North Highlands Accident on Walerga Road near Bainbridge Drive
North Highlands, California (March 9, 2022) – A bicyclist was struck and injured by a vehicle on Walerga Road in North Highlands on Tuesday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.
A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on the northbound side just south of Bainbridge Drive shortly before 9:38 a.m. March 8.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and located the biccist with major injuries.
Bicyclist Hospitalzied after North Highlands Crash on Walerga Road near Bainbridge Drive
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The involved motorist remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the authorities.
The area near the intersection of Walerga Road and Bainbridge Drive was shut down for the investigation.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
