Motorcyclist Injured in North Highlands Accident on Madison Avenue near Polk Street

North Highlands, California (May 25, 2022) – A motorcycle rider sustained major injuries in a collision with a vehicle in North Highlands on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Madison Avenue near Polk Street at around 11:40 a.m. on May 24.
According to the CHP, a Mazda and a motorcycle collided in the area under unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
The driver of the Mazda reportedly left the scene but later returned.
The vehicles were towed from the scene by tow trucks.
An investigation into the collision is being handled by the CHP.
