Manuel Sandoval Arrested after Deadly North Hills Accident on Woodley Avenue and Parthenia Street

North Hills, California (March 3, 2022) – Authorities arrested Manuel Sandoval, 26, of Canoga Park after a crash that left one person dead in North Hills on Wednesday evening, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
At around 7 p.m. March 2, Sandoval was driving a 1999 tan Chevrolet truck southbound on Woodley Avenue at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop for a red light and crashed into a white Nissan sedan that was trying to make a left turn from Woodley Avenue onto westbound Parthenia Street.
The impact sent the Nissan crashing into the sidewalk and a light pole while the Chevrolet overturned.

The driver of the Nissan, a woman in her 30s, was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Sandoval was taken to the hospital for treatment and was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Authorities said Sandoval was expected to be booked on suspicion of murder.
The incident is under investigation.
