2 People Killed in Oakland Crash on Interstate 80 near University Avenue
Oakland, California (September 12, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday morning traffic accident that killed two people in Oakland.
The deadly three-vehicle accident transpired at about 1:36 a.m. on Interstate 80, west of University Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Malibu, a Dodge Durango, and a Mini Cooper were involved in the accident. How the accident occurred is yet to be established.
Two people sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
