Man Killed in Oakland Accident on I-80 near MacArthur Maze
Oakland, California (March 12, 2022) – A man was killed in an early Saturday morning collision that happened on I-80 near the MacArthur Maze interchange in Oakland, according to California Highway Patrol.
A Honda reportedly slammed into a stopped BMW on the westbound lanes of I-80.
The BMW was then hit by a pickup truck.
A man riding as a passenger in the Honda died in the accident.

The driver of the Honda was transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
Other parties involved in the crash were treated for moderate injuries.
Lanes were closed at the interchange for at least one hour as authorities investigated the incident.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
