Minor Injuries Sustained in Oakland Car Crash on Highway 24 near Highway 13

Oakland, California (May 4, 2022) – A multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon on Highway 24 in Oakland, resulted in minor injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup took place just after 1 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway just west of Highway 13.
Four vehicles, including a black Honda Accord, a red 2-door Jaguar and a white Dodge Ram, were involved in the accident. The Jaguar went about 50 feet down an embankment.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to help the motorists.
The crash resulted in minor injuries to an unknown number of parties. An ambulance was sent to the scene to provide medical aid.
About 4 feet of chain-link fence were also destroyed.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
