, California (November 14, 2021) – Several people were injured Friday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on a freeway in Oakland, authorities said.

The collision happened at about 10:52 a.m. Friday, November 12, on the near the Coolidge Avenue exit.

According to the authorities, a red sedan collided with an SUV on the freeway. Following the collision, the red sedan became trapped underneath the SUV.

Moments later, a white sedan crashed into the back of the red car.

All the drivers and passengers sustained minor injuries, but they declined hospitalization.
