Minor Injuries Sustained in Oakland Car Accident on 580 Freeway near Lakeshore Avenue Off-Ramp
Oakland, California (January 17, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a rollover car accident that happened Friday night in Oakland, resulting in minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision was reported at about 8:16 p.m. on westbound 580 Freeway, just east of Lakeshore Avenue off-ramp.
Two cars of unknown description collided, and one of them rolled over onto its roof on the right-hand shoulder.
Responding emergency crews said minor injuries were sustained in the accident. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to offer medical aid.
The Nos. 3 and 4 lanes remained blocked as investigators worked the scene.
