Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Oceanside Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 5 near Harbor Drive
Oceanside, California (January 3, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday evening in a collision with a car in Oceanside, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash was reported at around 7:04 p.m. Sunday, January 2, on Interstate 5 near Harbor Drive.
As per the CHP report, the motorcyclist collided with a small white sedan on the southbound side of the freeway.
Major Injury Motorcycle Accident in Oceanside
The motorcycle rider was taken to the Scripps Memorial Hospital with major injuries. The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately available.
The southbound lanes of the Interstate 5 were shut down following the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
