Four vehicles, including at least one motorcycle, collided in the southbound lanes of the interstate just north of the Hollywood Way off-ramp.
Burbank, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision involving a hit-and-run driver that happened Sunday morning in Burbank, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup was reported around 7:38 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5, just north of Hollywood Way off-ramp.
At least one black motorcycle, a white Toyota Solara, and two other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The rider was lying down in the slow lane after the crash.
Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue 77 ambulance responded to the scene and transported one person to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center with unknown injuries.
CHP said one vehicle fled the scene but did not give more details.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
