Two vehicles collided early Thursday morning near 165th Street East
Llano, Calif. – One person was airlifted to the hospital after a traffic collision that happened early Thursday morning on a highway in Llano, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities received reports of the collision around 4:42 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 138, just east of 165th Street East.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and requested a helicopter to respond and airlift a seriously injured person to the hospital. The helicopter landed near the collision scene and airlifted the patient to Antelope Valley Hospital in unknown condition.
The report said a separate single-car accident with property damage only also happened in the area around the same time.
