Two cars collided at the intersection Thursday afternoon, and one ended up in a ditch.
Cottonwood, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Cottonwood.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision took place around 2:10 p.m. at Locust Street and 4th Street.
A gray Toyota SUV and a gray Dodge Ram were involved in the accident.
The truck was left blocking the roadway, and the SUV went off the roadway into a ditch with water.
One person was transported to Mercy Medical Center Redding with unknown injuries.
Police officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
