Authorities said a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a blue Mazda SUV were involved in the collision.
The vehicles were blocking the left lane on the transition road.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The pickup truck was towed away with major front-end damage and the SUV with major rear-end damage.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
