Two vehicles collided Monday afternoon near Briggs Road, resulting in minor injuries

Ventura County, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after a DUI collision that happened Monday afternoon near Santa Paula, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported around 2:35 p.m. on westbound Highway 126 near Briggs Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene.
One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
One of the drivers was booked for DUI, the report said.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
