Two vehicles collided on State Route 52 in the city's Tierrasanta community
San Diego, Calif. – One person was sent to the hospital after a fiery rollover collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in San Diego's Tierrasanta community, authorities said.
The accident was reported around 4:25 p.m. on the westbound State Route 52 near Santo Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided under unclear circumstances. One car rolled over and at least one caught fire.
Firefighters responded and extinguished the fire and transported one person to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other details were given but an investigation is ongoing.
