San Diego, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Sunday morning on a freeway in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported to authorities around 5:24 a.m. on westbound Interstate 8 near Interstate 805.
A black sedan and a red sedan were involved in the crash.
One of the cars reportedly fled the scene after the collision.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The cause and manner of the crash is under investigation.
