Long Beach, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision took place around 2:54 p.m. on northbound Interstate 405 near the Woodruff Avenue off-ramp.
Five vehicles were involved in the accident.
The Long Beach Fire Department responded to the scene and transported one person to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
