Kingsburg, CA. – One person was injured in a rollover collision involving several vehicles that happened Friday afternoon in Kingsburg, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup took place around 12:39 p.m. on southbound State Route 99 just south of Merritt Drive.
A big rig, a silver GMC Sierra pickup truck, and a third car that overturned onto its roof were involved in the accident. Airbags were deployed in the pickup truck.
Kingsburg firefighters responded to the scene and transported a female driver to the hospital with a laceration to the top of her head. Three juveniles were also transported together with her, but were not injured.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
