Two vehicles collided Wednesday evening near the 21869 block of Markham Street.
Perris, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday evening in Perris, the California Highway Patrol said.
Around 5:40 p.m., a gray Nissan Sentra and a gray Nissan sedan collided in the 21869 block of Markham Street.
The vehicles also hit the fence of a nearby home.
A witness told authorities that a female occupant was stuck in one of the vehicles and that the other car was blocking her in before emergency personnel arrived.
The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene and confirmed there was no extrication needed.
One person was transported to Riverside University Health System with minor injuries.
The cause of the accident was not immediately established.
