San Jose, CA. – One person was injured when two vehicles collided Tuesday afternoon on State Route 87 in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP said two vehicles crashed at around 1:16 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway just south of Curtner Avenue off-ramp.
A gold Toyota Prius and another car were involved in the crash.
Reportedly, one of the cars swerved to avoid a garbage can in the roadway but ended up hitting another vehicle. One of the cars reportedly overturned.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Authorities responded to the scene to investigate what caused the collision.
