Two vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of the highway just south of Imperial Highway.
Lynwood, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Tuesday morning near Lynwood, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported around 6:12 a.m. on northbound Interstate 710, just south of Imperial Highway.
A black BMW sedan and a gray GMC Sierra were involved in the crash, blocking the fast lane.
An occupant of the BMW complained of pain to the neck. McCormick Ambulance responded to the scene and transported the patient to the hospital.
One vehicle was towed away with moderate front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the accident.
