Two vehicles were involved in the crash just north of the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard off-ramp.

Marin County, Calif. – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday morning in Marin County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 8:11 a.m. on the southbound Highway 101, just north of the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard off-ramp.
The driver of a black Ford Mustang called 911 reporting that the driver ahead of them slammed on their brakes and the reporting party crashed into that car's back.
Marin County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the car occupants.
One person who hit their head and chest on the steering complained of pain. The victim was offered medical aid but it was unclear if they were hospitalized.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the accident.
Southbound lanes were briefly closed during an investigation.
