Two vehicles collided Friday morning near Clairemont Drive
San Diego, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision that happened Friday morning in San Diego, sending one person to the hospital.
CHP officers received reports of the collision around 5:56 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Clairemont Drive.
Responding officers found a green 1966 Dodge and a gray Toyota Corolla involved in the crash.
An occupant of the Dodge sustained minor injuries. The patient was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators did not immediately determine the factors that contributed to the accident.
