1 Seriously Injured in Orange Cove Crash at American Avenue and Hills Valley Road
Orange Cove, California (November 15, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Orange Cove, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury crash occurred at around 3:46 p.m. Sunday, November 14, at the intersection of American Avenue and Hills Valley Road.
According to the CHP, a Chevrolet Silverado, a red-colored vehicle, and a third vehicle collided at the Orange Cove intersection.
After the collision, the red car overturned, while another vehicle caught fire. One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters.

One patient was airlifted to a hospital with moderate to major injuries. The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately provided.
The intersection of American Avenue and Hills Valley was temporarily closed as the investigation and cleanup took place.
