1 Hospitalized after Orinda Accident on Highway 24 near Camino Pablo

Orinda, California (October 24, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle collision that sent one person to the hospital late Friday morning in Orinda.
The minor injury crash took place on Highway 24, just west of Camino Pablo, at approximately 11:47 a.m. on October 22
It was not immediately established how a red Mazda SUV and a silver Toyota Prius crashed on the eastbound side of the highway.

The crash left one person with minor injuries. Medical personnel attended the unidentified person before being rushed to John Muir Health for further medical aid.
Officials closed down the eastbound lanes of Highway 24 for an unknown time as they investigated and cleared the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
