According to the California Highway Patrol, Ayala was driving a Jeep Wrangler west on SR 94 when he swerved to the left and crashed into the center divider wall
San Diego, CA – Osvaldo Ayala, 32, of Lemon Grove, has been identified as the man who was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in San Diego on March 18, according to the Medical Examiner's Office.
The deadly crash happened on State Route 94 east of Euclid Avenue at about 7 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Ayala was driving a Jeep Wrangler west on SR 94 when he swerved to the left and crashed into the center divider wall.
Ayala was ejected from the vehicle and struck by a van.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene
The driver of the van stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Both sides of SR 94 were shut down as authorities investigated the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
