Osvaldo Garcia Arrested after Palmdale Pedestrian Accident on 14 Freeway
Palmdale, California (April 12, 2022) – Authorities arrested Osvaldo Garcia, 23, of Palmdale on suspicion of DUI after a crash that left a pedestrian dead early Saturday morning in Palmdale.
According to the authorities, the incident happened on the 14 Freeway, south of Palmdale Boulevard at around 2:13 a.m. April 9.
Pauline Gonzalez, 28, of Canyon Country was driving a 1996 Buick sedan south on the 14 Freeway when she was involved in a crash with a Honda sedan.
When Gonzalez stepped out of her vehicle, she was struck by a 2006 Ford F150. The Ford also collided with the sedan.

Gonzalez was killed in the crash.
Garcia was the driver of the pickup and was suspected to have been driving under the influence. Garcia was arrested on DUI charges.
The deadly accident remained under investigation.
