Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Pacific Beach Crash on Grand Avenue and Fanuel Street
Pacific Beach, California (May 28, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision that happened at a Pacific Beach intersection on Friday afternoon, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident occurred at around 3:35 p.m. on May 27, at Grand Avenue and Fanuel Street.
Police said a 51-year-old man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Fanuel Street when he collided with a southbound Ford Mustang that was trying to make a turn onto Grand Avenue.
The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford was uninjured and stayed at the scene.
Further details on the collision were not immediately released.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
