2 Hospitalized after Palm Springs Crash at Tahquitz Canyon Way and Calle Encilia
Palm Springs, California (November 24, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized Wednesday afternoon following a car crash at an intersection in Palm Springs, according to the Palm Springs Fire Department.
The collision was reported at around 1:43 p.m. at the intersection of Tahquitz Canyon Way and Calle Encilia.
Two vehicles collided at the Palm Springs intersection, authorities said. The impact caused one of the involved vehicles to overturn.
2 Injured in Tahquitz Canyon Way Crash
Two patients were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The names of the victims and their conditions were not immediately available.
The southbound lane of Calle Encilia was closed for nearly 15 minutes following the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
