1 Killed in Palmdale Pedestrian Accident on Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) near 10th Street East
Palmdale, California (March 31, 2022) – At least one person died following a crash on Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) near 10th Street East in Palmdale on Tuesday night, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
The collision took place at around 9 p.m. March 29, on Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) near 10th Street East.
According to the authorities, a blue BMW 325I was traveling west on Rancho Vista Boulevard (Avenue P) when the driver swerved to avoid a vehicle in their front.
The BMW, however, collided with a pedestrian traveling west on the roadway.
A westbound blue Honda Civic drifted to the side to avoid the pedestrian but collided with the BMW.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The involved motorists stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
