One Person Killed in Palmdale Pedestrian Crash on Sierra Highway and Avenue S
Palmdale, California (August 28, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Palmdale, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 9:08 p.m., on August 25, at the intersection of Sierra Highway north of Avenue S.
According to the officials, the pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the collision.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
