Man Killed in San Miguel Crash on Indian Valley Road at Vineyard Canyon Road
San Miguel, California (April 5, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a fatal collision that left a man dead in San Miguel on Monday afternoon.
At around 3:35 p.m. April 4, a Mazda 3 was reportedly traveling northbound on Indian Valley Road when it made a left turn at Vineyard Canyon Road and collided head-on with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado.
A 24-year-old Paso Robles man who was a passenger in the Mazda died in the crash. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The driver of the Mazda was taken to a San Luis Obispo hospital with moderate injuries.
The other motorist had minor injuries.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The CHP Templeton Office is handling the investigation.
