Union Gap, WA.– Paula A. Winnier, 73, was killed in a car accident in Union Gap on July 6, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck took place at about 5:45 p.m. on Interstate 82.
Winnier was reportedly driving a Chevy Tahoe eastbound on I-82 when she drifted to the left, rolled over and collided with a westbound Subaru Legacy driven by Alisson L. Zepeda Arriaga, 24, of Tieton.
Winnier was taken to MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Arriaga and four passengers in the Tahoe were taken to MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
