Pauline Gonzalez Dies in Palmdale Accident on 14 Freeway
Palmdale, California (April 12, 2022) – Pauline Gonzalez, 28, of Canyon Country was fatally hit by a vehicle driven by a suspected DUI motorist in Palmdale early Saturday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident occurred on the 14 Freeway, south of Palmdale Boulevard at about 2:13 a.m. April 9.
Gonzalez was reportedly driving a 1996 Buick sedan southbound on the freeway when she collided with a Honda sedan, under unclear circumstances.
The sedan was diasabled in the No. 4 lane and Gonzalez stepped out. She was then hit by a 2006 Ford F150, which also collided with the sedan.
Gonzalez died following the tragic accident.
The driver of the pickup was suspected to have been under the influence when the accident happened.
The crash is under investigation.
