Female Pedestrian Struck by Car Last Month at West Taylor and Spring Streets Dies

, CA. – Authorities on Monday said the woman who was critically injured in a accident last month at an intersection in San Jose died of her injuries about a week later.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. on June 28 at West Taylor and Spring streets.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the woman was walking southbound in a crosswalk when she was hit by a gray 2022 Tesla Model X heading westbound on West Taylor.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with critical injuries but was stabilized.

On Monday, police were notified that the victim died of her injuries Friday. Her name was not immediately released.

The man driving the car stopped and cooperated with investigators.

San Jose, CA. – A woman was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a car Saturday morning in San Jose.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the accident was reported around 6:32 a.m. at West Taylor Street and Spring Street near River Park and the San Jose Mineta International Airport.

Police said an adult female pedestrian was hit by a sedan under unclear circumstances.

The woman was hospitalized in critical condition.

The driver involved stopped and cooperated with authorities.

Investigators blocked the roads in both directions from SR-87 to Coleman Avenue. The closure was lifted around 9:15 a.m.
