Palm Springs, Calif. – A pedestrian died after he was hit by a vehicle Sunday evening near an intersection in Palm Springs, authorities said.
The accident happened around 6:52 p.m. in the 600 block of South Palm Canyon Drive near Indian Canyon Drive.
Palm Springs police said a man was hit by a car for reasons still under investigation.
The man died in the accident.
No details were available about the manner of the collision or a description of the vehicle involved.
The driver stopped and remained at the scene.
