Victorville, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle early Thursday morning on a freeway in Victorville, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities responded to the northbound Interstate 15 near the Roy Rogers Drive off-ramp after receiving reports of the collision around 2:36 a.m.
The responders found the victim in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car involved, a gray Kia Stinger, was also at the scene. The vehicle was towed away for evidence.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
